Billington Holdings’ Charity of the Year is Pancreatic Cancer UK
Billington Holdings is proud to announce that the Group’s Charity of the Year for 2026 will be Pancreatic Cancer UK.
At Billington we believe in supporting causes that truly matter, not only within our industry and local communities, but also those that make a meaningful difference to people across the UK. The Billington Charity Foundation was established in 2016 with the goal of supporting local and national charities, as well as local community initiatives. Every year, we make financial or supportive contributions to local community activities and participate in charitable fundraising.
This year’s charity was nominated by one of our team members and it then received overwhelming support across the Group in a company-wide vote. Seeing everyone unite behind a cause that means so much to one of our own people is something we’re incredibly proud of.
Pancreatic Cancer UK raise awareness, fund groundbreaking research, and provide support to those affected by one of the deadliest forms of cancer. Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed too late, with limited treatment options, and it has one of the lowest survival rates of all common cancers. Pancreatic Cancer UK is committed to changing this outcome.
Through investment in early detection research, campaigning for better patient outcomes, and offering specialist support services, the charity is working tirelessly to improve survival rates and ensure no one faces pancreatic cancer alone.
Over the next year, companies across the Billington Group will be organising a range of fundraising activities and events, encouraging colleagues, partners, and clients to get involved. From physical challenges and company events, we are committed to making a tangible impact.
We look forward to working together as a team to support this important cause and help Pancreatic Cancer UK continue their life-saving work.
